New Age Technologies is an electronics manufacturing
services firm specializing in low- to mid-volume products
for New England area businesses. We provide total turnkey
or consignment solutions to meet our customers’ business
needs, whether it’s a prototype build, rework or repair
service, product design or comprehensive production outsourcing.
Founded in 1982 as a compliance testing lab for the emerging
SMT industry, we continue our legacy of innovation today
to bring unique solutions to the ever-changing manufacturing
landscape. As businesses change so do we—by offering
new services and expanded capabilities—while maintaining
the highest standards for quality and reliability in the
market.
History Timeline
| 1982 |
Compliance
testing lab established to address emerging SMT manufacturing
needs of Fortune 100 and defense industry (certification
testing of component compliance to the reflow temperatures
required for SMT.) During this period we pioneered the
use of fine pitch SMT & BGA packaging technologies
with R&D of Fortune 10 companies.

New product
introduction (NPI) service capability added to existing
process development and component engineering offerings.
These Fortune 10 companies asked us to build prototypes
for them because of our deep knowledge, and since we
were one of the few companies that owned & understood
vapor phase reflow ovens. It was during this time that
we began to develop our expertise in manually mounting
SMT devices.
